Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at armorprotectionfilms@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

If we are tinting your full vehicle, sides, bak and windshield, you can expect your vehicle to be with us for a full business day. Morning drop off, end of day pick up. Accommodations can be made for both drop off and pick up, just ask. We will keep you informed throughout the process. If you are opting for less then a full vehicle tint we can more accurately define a window of time.

Film application requires a curing process. The moisture between the film and the glass must evaporate for the adhesive to disappear and the film to properly perform. The conditions in weather and climate can vary and therefore so does the cure time. Depending on the season and current climate you can expect a recommendation of anywhere between 3-7 days to roll down your recently tinted windows. We will assist you in this process by placing a non invasive sticker over your window function.

PLEASE BE ADVISED: During the curing process the moisture between the glass and film can intensify glare when driving at night, especially in wet conditions. When the film properly cures it will do the opposite and enhance your visibility.  You can also on occasion see bubbles that accumulate when the film begins to cure and pushes pockets of moisture together, also air. This is all normal. In the event that any of the above mentioned do not disappear please inform us so we can assess the film.

Absolutely! When working with vehicles of age we always have to consider the variables. After some discovery questions about your vehicle and tint project we can offer you our film recommendations.
