Issa G.

        Issa made her debut in the automotive performance films industry in the Spring of 2022. It was by fluke that she applied for a job that was listed on Facebook Marketplace for an automotive tint shop. The most enticing aspect of this job was that it was 5 minutes from her son's school. Little did she know her life was about to take a major unexpected turn for the better. What was meant to be a stepping stone in her professional world turned out to be the success she had always dreamed of in a industry she loves. With no formal training, Issa was able to not only grasp the concept of the films in which she offers, she has a way of educating her clientele to insure that they are making the best possible protection solutions tailored to their automotive needs.

         It was at the first shop she ever worked at that she met her now business partner Erik Edson. He was her lead automotive installer, her first friend in the industry. He took the time to answer her one hundred thousand questions about film. She now confesses that she had no  knowledge  about PPF the first 7 days she worked there. 

         Erik & Issa only worked together for three months.  Shortly after she began, Erik left  and she was vetted by another shop in the metro Detroit area. After some serious consideration Issa accepted their offer. She describes this as one of the best experiences of her life as well as the most challenging personally and professionally. It was there that she oversaw multiple divisions in aftermarket automotive care, and in Michigan, seasonally marine. She acquired extensive knowledge in detail, paint correction, appearance, performance, coatings, and of course FILM!  Her efforts did not go unnoticed and she quickly gained the trust of a clientele that pays particularly close attention to detail. She had the opportunity to travel to shops all over the US and has had the pleasure of working with Autobahn, Xpel and LLumar. She describes the automotive film industry as "the Wild West, an industry full of incredibly talented individuals with no limits, changing the way people see things." 

        She and Erik remained in touch. They would talk shop and share their experiences. After three years of growth she and Erik have built Armor Protection Films. A private label automotive film shop that offers care beyond expectations.
